Support our Library Funding
We are doing a little more for our families in Africa, starting with funding a library in Kenya. Part of our proceeds go to this project, and we also have a book available where every purchase directly goes to funding this project.
The Ose Oiye free public library was founded in January 2020 by Natasha Oiye, the CEO of Motherlandstuff LLC.
In honor of her late father, who loved to read, this library is the first free, privately-owned library in the whole county of Siaya, and one of just a handful in the country of Kenya.
The library is run under the Motherlandstuff Foundation which is a registered non-profit 501(C)3 in California.
Open daily, it serves the community and also distributes paper, writing supplies, backpacks and other donated items, sourced from the USA and shipped to Kenya by sea-freight. The library runs purely on donations.
